I created these gloves whilst I was Deveron Arts artist in residence in Huntly’s Brander Museum, making pieces to exhibit alongside the existing artefacts. The gloves are made out of snap fasteners to imply the gesture of hands joining in prayer and were inspired by a chain mail theatre costume for Pilgrims Progress which was on display.  Prayer Gloves was purchased by Deveron Arts and is now on permanent display in the Brander Museum.

Awarded the Shell Expro Award in Aberdeen Artists at Aberdeen Art Gallery in 2000.
